YWCA Kauaʻi: Clinical Program
ABOUT YWCA KAUAʻI
YWCA Kauaʻi strives to improve the emotional, mental, and behavioral wellness of our community. Counseling helps survivors to address the traumatic impact that violence has had on their families, as well as to secure long-term therapeutic interventions. Their therapists are licensed marriage and family therapists, mental health counselors or social workers, or Master’s level therapists working under the supervision of licensed therapists. We provide trauma-informed, client-centered, and culturally-sensitive therapy services in a safe and confidential environment. Our therapists specialize in issues relating to family and/or sexual violence, namely intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and sexual abuse.
YWCA Kauaʻi launched the Sexual Assault Treatment Program in 1982 and the Sex Abuse Treatment Program in 1995.
