State of Hawaiʻi Department of the Attorney General: Victim Services 

The Victim Services Program handles criminal cases that have been conflicted from other counties. Anyone who is the victim of a crime prosecuted by this office can receive assistance. 

Services Offered: 

• Accompaniment to court proceedings 
• Advocacy 
• Assistance with signing up with SAVIN, victim’s compensation or other assistance 
• Assistance with preparation of Victim Impact Statements 
• Crisis Intervention and/or short-term counseling 
• Financial Assistance (including referrals) 
• Information and referral 
• Safety planning 
• Updates about legal proceedings 
• Updates about the status of individuals who are incarcerated or under community supervision
